Friday 6th June Chris set off very early for Sweden and I set off a little later for Little Meadle where Kay (contemporary Monash Medical Graduate, hiking friend and now certified pom) lives. The ride was pretty flat but the break at a country pub for a light lunch in the midst of Burnham Beeches ( of Shakespearean fame) was welcome. I pushed on north and hit the railway line which took me pretty close to Kays. We headed off for a 3 hour drive to the peak district with Derry the ageing great dane and stayed at Kays holiday shack in a lake.
