Chris and I are sitting in the bar with free internet below Windsor Castle. We have just had a scintillating trip to Henley on Thames, the home or Rowing. We set off to Staines railway at 8.30, got there at 9 found that half price starts at 9.30, caught the train to Reading , waited an hour for the train to Henley nd got there 2 1/2 hours later. We had planned to hire a motor boat but the river is actually up half a meter and in flood after the recent heavy rain so no boats out. We checked out the rowing museum then had something really British for lunch...a superb vindaloo!
